At Campos we are working to strengthen the commitments acquired in terms of Quality, Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

This is demonstrated by the development and public dissemination of our Integrated Policy, the purpose of which is to adapt to the current and future needs of all our stakeholders (employees, clients, shareholders, collaborators and society), foster sustainable development, and undertake the commitment to provide a service focused on the full satisfaction of the client.

Fostering Sustainable Development

With our work we want to contribute to ensuring equal opportunities for all people, without damaging the planet.

That is why we always seeking to contribute to the triple bottom line (economic – social – environmental) in our relationships with suppliers, clients and employees, as well as in the implementation of our solutions.

SDG 3: Good health and well-being

  • Since 2018, we have implemented the UNE-EN ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Standard.
  • Having medical insurance for all employees, which includes additional services to improve physical and mental health.
  • Fostering remote working and flexible working hours so that employees can decide where to work and make their work start and finish times more flexible. Furthermore, a Remote Work Agreement shall be signed with each employee in 2022.
  • Through our Compliance Committee and Code of Conduct we ensure good governance, anti-corruption, responsible contracting, human rights and good working conditions.
  • Ensuring that our operations do not negatively impact the human rights to health of communities through our Integrated Quality, Environmental Management and OSH System.
  • Manufacturing air purification equipment to ensure good indoor air quality.
  • Making donations to social entities: Food Bank, Anti-Cancer Association etc.

SDG 7: Affordable and clean energy

  • We have been electrifying towns and cities for more than 30 years, fostering access to electricity and accordingly combating energy poverty in the most inaccessible areas.
  • Installation of charging points for electric vehicles.
  • Installation of photovoltaic solar energy panels in offices, educational centres, telecommunications centres etc. In this way contributing to a sustainable and fair energy transition towards a decarbonised economy.
  • Manufacture of climate control equipment with heat pump technology, which is much more efficient, sustainable and cleaner. Furthermore, this equipment is designed with the highest standards of energy efficiency, which we call “eco-design”.

SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth

  • In 2022, a 6.5% wage increase was implemented for all employees as a result of the improved Collective Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
  • The implementation of several initiatives following the voluntary improvement agreement as regards the Metal Sector Collective Enterprise Bargaining Agreement: improvements in OHS, remote work, equality plans and digital disconnection.
  • We have had a sustained growth of the company over the last few years, with an average of 25% per year, which entails the creation of jobs, decent employment conditions for our employees and benefits the business fabric of our community and local suppliers.
  • Our supply chain, suppliers and subcontractors sign a code of conduct in which they undertake to comply with decent work and thereby prevent practices that jeopardise labour rights.
  • Increasing economic productivity by fostering R&D+I, technology and entrepreneurship.

SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

  • Contributing to more sustainable infrastructures: telecommunications centres, offices, commercial sector, educational centres etc.
  • Contributing to more sustainable industries through our efficient climate control equipment and the implementation of energy efficiency measures.
  • Improvement in the energy efficiency of multiple infrastructures. In this regard, we have developed a platform for monitoring and remote control of infrastructures to optimise their energy efficiency (E-brain) – Industry 4.0: development of technologies for the automation of processes and digitalisation of data (E-brain).
  • Incorporation of small and medium-sized companies as business partners in our value chain.
  • Innovation is one of our principles and it is applied in all our areas of activity. Furthermore, the Lean Methodology is applied to our processes.

SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities

  • In 2022 the implementation of a Comprehensive Equality Plan.
  • Measurement of the salary gap in order to work towards the objective of its eradication.
  • Our workforce is based on the four axes of diversity: gender, generation, people with disabilities and multi-nationalities.
  • Donations to Asprona, Amiab and the Red Cross.

  • Progressive incorporation of electric vehicles in our car pool to foster sustainable mobility.
  • Renewable energy contracts in our branch offices.
  • Two of our branch offices have renewable energy installations for the sale of clean energy.
  • Undertaking a proper hazardous and non-hazardous waste management.
  • Measurement of our carbon footprint, and accordingly measuring our impact on the environment, which will enable us to reduce CO2 emissions and combat climate change in compliance with the global objectives set.

  • Creation of transparent and lasting relationships with our clients.
  • Through our Compliance Committee and Code of Conduct we ensure good governance, anti-corruption, responsible contracting, human rights and business ethics.

We train, educate and provide material to all our employees to ensure their health and safety. Likewise continuously reviewing and improving their employment conditions and apply a policy of zero discrimination and harassment.

At Campos we develop all our projects in line with Environmental Policy, which includes objectives such as the reduction of energy consumption and GHG emissions. Likewise carrying out responsible waste management and sustainable consumption.

Ethics

 

There is no room for misconduct such as corruption and bribery or anti-competitive conduct in any of our operations. Furthermore, our communication actions always seek non-invasiveness and truthfulness, and develop responsible marketing..

Sustainable purchasing

 

We review and assess our suppliers and purchasing materials to ensure that our supply chain is consistent with our Corporate Social Responsibility Plan.
